Traditional disinfectants only work when they’re wet–spray a bleach-based product, and it needs to stay wet for 30 seconds to ten minutes, depending on what you want to kill. Same goes for any traditional disinfectant–Vital Oxide (JMPS tested Germ Sheild vs. Vital Oxide), First Defense, Lysol, etc. The dwell time, the time the product stays wet and therefore it’s efficacy period, is when the germ is neutralized.
Our germ shield WORKS WHEN DRY! It goes on as a very fine spray, and within a few minutes it has dried, the same as any other cleaner, but that is when the germ shield STARTS working, the same time traditional disinfectants QUIT working. Once dry, the germ shield becomes an interlinked mesh of nano-sized spikes that attract and neutralize germs, 24/7. Completely non-toxic. Not harmful to kids, adults, pets, plants, furniture, drapes, carpet, windows, etc.
HVAC filters and ductwork can also be treated, so all air that circulates through your school/practice/office/facility/home is treated. It’s not a traditional air scrubber, but works very, very well and doesn’t have any odor, and there is nothing to clean off the walls and ceilings and furniture (ionizing filters require wiping all surfaces regularly to remove the pathogens that are trapped).
